Bjorli Snow Hotel – Ice Lodge – Norway

Note: To our best knowledge, the snow hotel will not be built this winter (2011/2012). We’re waiting for confirmation from the hotel.

The Ice Lodge is one of the largest in Norway and part of the Bjorligard Hotel. It has a longer season than most ice hotels because of its altitude (1,250 meters above sea level).

The Bjorligard Snow Hotel, is a charming hotel with a true alpine feel, nestles in a beautiful setting offering inspiring countryside and fresh mountain air. The Bjorli Snow Hotel is situated within walking distance of this well-appointed accommodation, which offers guests an impressive range of facilities which includes:

• 56 comfortable rooms of which 24 are versatile family rooms
• Restaurant/banquet room
• Lobby bar and hunting lounge
• Wood-fired hot tubs
• Fully equipped well-being center
• Snow hotel is open January 1 – April 15 (see note above.)

The snow hotel  has an ice bar, where you can have a drink from glasses made from ice, and the rooms feature ice sculptures and amazing lighting, which all add the to snow hotel experience.
